The countdown is nearly over. In just two weeks, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing will return to the iconic Paramount in Huntington, NY, for the 51st edition of the acclaimed “Rockin’ Fights” series. Set for Saturday, September 20th, the card promises another night of high-voltage boxing that has made Star Boxing’s Rockin’ Fights series at The Paramount one of the most electric in the sport.

Headlining the action will be Brooklyn’s own Junior “The Young God” Younan

(21-0-1, 13KO), who continues to captivate fans with his mix of speed, skill, and knockout power. Younan, coming off back-to-back stoppage victories in Huntington, has emerged as one of the sport’s most exciting title contenders. Brooklyn’s exciting protege will be defending his WBA Continential Americas Championship and his return to the Paramount stage is highly anticipated. With fellow Super-Middleweight Canelo Alvarez fighting Terrance Crawford fighting the week before for the World Championship, Junior is hoping a big win on September 20th puts him in line to a future fight with one of those elite champions in the same division.

Adding to the excitement, the show will have a few favorites of the Paramount and Star Boxing’s brightest prospects:

    • Micky Scala (12-0, 6KO) – The undefeated Italian-American prospect from Mesa, Arizona, by way of Brooklyn, NY, fights with an undeniable edge. Scala carries that “dawg” mentality into the ring, thriving in gritty exchanges and refusing to back down when the heat is on. His next Paramount performance is expected to showcase that same relentless toughness that has kept him unbeaten.
    • Zay “No Choice” Flaherty (8-0, 4KO) – A proven crowd favorite in Huntington, Flaherty, an Irish-American favorite, has earned a reputation for his relentless pressure and fight-ending power. Each time he’s stepped through the ropes, he’s delivered fireworks, and he says September 20th will be no different.
    • Jordy Suarez Gonzalez (2-0, 1KO) – The rising Mexican-American prospect has impressed early in his career with sharp fundamentals and a willingness to engage. Gonzalez now looks to make a statement under the bright lights of The Paramount as he continues his climb up the ranks.

With Younan leading the charge and Scala and Flaherty bringing depth to an already explosive lineup, Rockin’ Fights 51 is set to carry on the tradition of giving fight fans unforgettable nights in Huntington.
