The sorrow surrounding the passing of Rev. Obofour’s mother, Afia Pokuaa, affectionately known as Mama Ade Special, took another turn on Friday, March 14, 2025, as the man of God’s wife, Queen Ciara, was seen weeping uncontrollably at the one-week celebration of her late mother-in-law.

The one-week celebration, which was held at the Kumasi Patasi-Brotherman Spot, drew a massive crowd, with family, friends, and sympathizers gathering to mourn the loss of the mother of the man of God.

As they made their way to their seats, Queen Ciara was seen shedding tears while holding her children close to her.

This scene left many people at the venue emotional and heartbroken.

It should also be noted that the event attracted a host of dignitaries and prominent figures from the entertainment industry and the religious community.

Entertainers like Kwaku Manu and Funny Face were spotted there.

Additionally, notable men of God, including Eagle Prophet, Prophet Egwe, and Prophet Larbi Gyimah, were present to show their support for Rev. Obofour and his family during this painful period.

Mama Ade Special passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Details of her final funeral rites, according to Rev. Obofour and the family, will soon be communicated.
