The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially dismissed rumors that President Kurt Okraku met with a German coach to discuss a potential appointment for the Black Stars.

In a press release on Tuesday, November 5, the GFA clarified that these reports are unfounded.

“The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has taken note of false reports being circulated that the Association has met a German coach and is negotiating remuneration with him,” the statement read. “The Association wishes to state clearly that the reports are entirely false.”

According to the GFA, President Kurt Okraku’s recent visit to Germany had no connection to any coaching discussions.

Instead, his trip was dedicated to strengthening ties with Puma, the official kit sponsor of the Black Stars. The meeting focused on “matters of mutual interest” to reinforce their partnership, as previously reported by the GFA on its official platforms.

The association also urged the media and the public to disregard these rumors, encouraging all parties to rely on the GFA’s website and verified social media channels for credible information and updates.
