Actress and TV host Nana Ama McBrown has urged bloggers and TikTokers to behave respectfully during the funeral of the late social media personality Osanju, set for October 4, 2025, at Atwima Koforidua School Park.

During a visit to the deceased’s family on October 2, 2025, McBrown acknowledged that some individuals may want to create content at the funeral, but she made it clear that any form of disrespect toward the grieving family would not be tolerated.

Addressing bloggers and TikTokers directly, McBrown said she has no issue with people filming, as long as they respect the privacy and space of the family and mourners.

    Popular TikToker Osanju confirmed dead

“When you arrive at the funeral on Saturday, do not come and misbehave. Don’t think that just because it’s a young man’s funeral, you can push people around in your quest to record videos. You must show respect to the family,” she warned in a video sighted by GhanaWeb on TikTok.

She mentioned that anyone who crosses their boundaries would regret it, stating that she would personally confront those who disregarded her warning.

“If you know you want to record, don’t put the camera in anyone’s face. If you do that to me, I swear to God I’ll smack your phone or camera out of your hand. You can record your videos, but respect the family’s space. If you do too much, don’t try me,” McBrown added.

‘I will honour Osanju’s wishes’ – McBrown speaks on funeral plans

Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju died on September 1, 2025, after suddenly falling ill at his home in Kumasi.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital and later transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), but was pronounced dead on arrival.

His death shocked many, especially as he had been active online just the night before, sharing a video about Barcelona’s La Liga performance.

McBrown, who had often referred to the late TikToker as her “husband,” is expected to join mourners and friends of the late entertainer at burial on October 4, 2025.
