A lady has got people talking after revealing how she and her friend pretended it was her birthday to get a free cake at a restaurant.
She explained that they came up with the idea because the cake wasn’t available for purchase, so they decided to act like it was her special day. Their plan worked, as the staff presented a complimentary cake along with a birthday song.
Even her friend who recorded the video pretended to be surprised after the staff reached their table for the celebration.
However, the experience didn’t quite meet their expectations. According to her, the cake wasn’t sweet, and the staff member who sang the birthday song delivered it off-key, making the moment less enjoyable than anticipated.
Despite the humorous video, many online users criticized their actions. Some pointed out that such behavior could stop the restaurant from offering complimentary birthday treats to genuine celebrants.
