The General Overseer of Believers Worship Center, Adom Kyei-Duah, has expressed desire to meet Ghanaian boxer Joseph Sackey following the latter’s defeat at the recent “Battle of the Beats” boxing event held at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
On June 14, 2025, Joseph Sackey became the subject of social media discussion after losing his bout against Abdul Khan.
What drew particular attention was Sackey’s attire, a pair of blue shorts with a sticker bearing the image of Adom Kyei-Duah.
Speaking on this development, Adom Kyei-Duah, while addressing his congregation, has expressed interest to meet the ‘defeated boxer’ in person.
“I am pleading with you to inform him that I want to meet him God willing Sunday. I need that boy. On Sunday, I will invite him to stand by me on the pulpit,” he said.
According to Adom Kyei-Duah, his invitation is intended to send a strong message to critics who question the authenticity of his ministry.
“The reason why I am inviting him is that I want people to know that I have been called by God. I don’t know him but after seeing his video, I fell in love with him,” he added.
The preacher’s comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising his gesture while others question the motives behind the invitation.
