Exclusive videos from the traditional wedding ceremony of Ghanaian songstress Efya and Nigerian singer Tomi Thomas have surfaced online, giving fans a glimpse of the colourful celebration held in Accra on Friday, November 6, 2026.
The ceremony, which brought together family members, friends and several prominent personalities, marked the union of the two musicians.
Among the notable personalities spotted at the event were Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, musician Sister Derby, actress Fella Makafui, socialite Hajia4Reall and Chief Executive Officer of the National Film Authority, Kafui Danku.

The videos circulating on social media captured some of the memorable moments from the ceremony, with the couple and their guests embracing traditional fashion. Colourful kente outfits and gold-themed ensembles added to the beauty of the occasion.
Efya, born Jane Awindor, looked stunning in her traditional kente outfit as she celebrated with her husband and loved ones.
One of the videos also captured Tomi Thomas expressing his desire to make the Ghanaian singer his wife. In the footage, the Nigerian musician was heard saying: “I sent my parents with the marriage items because I want Efya as my wife.”
The marriage comes several months after the families of the couple held a traditional knocking ceremony on February 14, 2026.
Following the event, Efya’s management dismissed reports suggesting that the couple had secretly married, clarifying that the occasion was a knocking ceremony and that the customary marriage processes had not yet been completed.
The couple have largely kept their relationship away from public attention, making their traditional wedding a special moment for fans who have followed their journey.
Tomi Thomas first gained recognition as a member of Nigerian music group Loud On Sound (LOS) before venturing into a solo career. He has since worked with several international acts, including Jamaican singer Buju Banton and American rapper Wale.
Following their traditional marriage on Friday, November 6, 2026, Efya and Tomi Thomas are expected to hold their white wedding on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
