Before tying the knot, Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Akwaboah Jnr., has talked about how he prepared his partner’s mind about rumours and social media gossip.

He revealed in a recent interview that he psyched his partner about what may come up.

When rumours trickled in following their marriage, the ‘Forever’ singer said they were already prepared for it.

“When I got married, if you followed what transpired on social media and the discussions that came up, people said a lot of things about me.

“The lucky thing that happened to me was that I had already advised my wife earlier to expect some of the things that happened,” he told Amansan Krakye in an interview.

“So when the things I psyched her about started coming up, we would observe them and just laugh because we expected it,” Akwaboah added.

For marriage to be successful and endure external pressures, the popular singer said there should be conscious efforts.

“If there’s a need for us to go chill, we go out, have fun, and later come home to sleep. We need to do whatever it takes to protect our marriage from breaking down,” Akwaboah stated.
