Ernestina Fosu, the elder sister of Ghanaian Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has expressed her satisfaction following an Accra High Court ruling that halted the late musician’s final burial ceremony.
In a video shared by Adom TV on Instagram on December 12, 2025, Ernestina said she was pleased with how the judge handled the matter.
She explained that the ruling gives the family the opportunity to properly prepare and give Lumba a dignified burial.
According to her, the music icon lived an honourable life and does not deserve a rushed funeral.

“I thank everyone for their prayers. When the time is due, we will give him a befitting burial. He has suffered, so we don’t have to rush to bury him like a fowl. I am pleased with the ruling,” she said.
Ernestina also revealed that she had not been able to see her brother’s remains since his passing.
“I am very happy because I can now see his body. Ever since he died, I have not had the chance to see him,” she added.
