Jordan Ayew rescued a point for Leicester City with a late equalizer in their draw against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.

The Ghana international struck in the closing stages to cancel out Sheffield Wednesday’s lead, ensuring Leicester avoided defeat in a tightly contested encounter. Ayew’s timely intervention once again highlighted his importance to the Foxes, particularly in high-pressure moments.

Leicester had struggled to break down a resilient Wednesday side for much of the game, but persistence paid off as Ayew found the back of the net late on. His composure in front of goal proved decisive, earning his team a valuable point in their push for a strong finish this season.

The goal takes Ayew’s tally to six in the Championship campaign, underlining his steady contribution in attack. His experience and leadership continue to be crucial for Leicester as they navigate a competitive league schedule.

Leicester will now look to build on this result as they aim to maintain momentum in the race for promotion.
