Given Nana Ama McBrown‘s high level of success in the acting field, it is expected that she might have encountered notorious film directors who tried to pressure her for sex in exchange for roles while climbing the career ladder.

However, she has established that she never faced such situations.

Speaking on the practice, which has become prevalent in the showbiz space, McBrown has stated that she is not the type of woman, men can easily manipulate into having an affair.

In a discussion on Onua Showtime, she said she would not hide any man she is involved with.

“When I entered the movie industry, I didn’t meet anyone who tried to sneak their way into a secret affair with me because I don’t hide my relationships. I can’t hide who I’m with. It’s a must that I show whoever I’m with to the public,” she bluntly stated.

She further narrated a story about a man named Morris, who gave her her first movie script, and how they later became a couple.

McBrown fondly recalled how she was captivated by Morris’ handsomeness, gentleness, and kindness.

She said they were drawn to each other as he helped guide her through the set.

By the end of the project, McBrown said they became a couple, not just a ‘fling’.

“There was a man who gave me my first movie script early in my career, his name is Morris. Every time we were on set, he held my hand and guided me. He taught me a lot of things and helped me navigate through. He’s extremely handsome, soft-spoken, charming, and respectful.

“A fair-skinned Akuapem man. Everyone can attest to this. Before we finished our project, we became sweethearts,” she recounted.

McBrown added that when their relationship became public, it helped ward off unwanted attention from other men.

“Our relationship became known to a lot of people, and we dated for two and a half years. His family and everyone around him knew me. People didn’t make passes at me because everyone knew about us, and Morris was a highly respected person,” she said.

The interviewer, Kwesi Ernest, jokingly added, “I’m sure after this, a lot of people will start searching for him.”

McBrown responded, “Let them search, he is a nice guy.”
