A thrift vendor has stirred discussion after advertising a wedding gown for ₦8,000, eliciting prayers against financial instability.

In a video shared online, the vendor @havilah_emporium courageously advertised wedding gowns in different styles. She announced that a piece of the gown cost ₦8,000 while 5 pieces cost ₦40,000.

Her generous price enabled the opportunity to purchase in retail and bulk for customers who intend to resell at a higher price.

Despite online criticism, the vendor disclosed that the wedding gown was left with two pieces since people silently patronized her.

Viewers sarcastically remarked that celebrating in a designer wedding gown is too extravagant, meaning the substandard wedding gown is a perfect fit.

While some netizens attached a diabolical occurrence to the wedding gown, others prayed never to be poor to the extent of purchasing an Okirika wedding gown that would make them appear like a beggar on their special day.
