Salisu (L) and Kudus (R) celebrating a goal during the 2022 World Cup

Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus enjoyed Ghana’s win over Chad in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, carrying the celebratory mood into the dressing room.

Ghana defeated Chad 5-0 on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A goal each from Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Antoine Semenyo, and Ernest Nuamah sent Otto Addo’s men to the top of the standings with 12 points, two ahead of Madagascar, whom they face on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Although Kudus failed to score, he was in a buoyant mood after the game, sharing the moment with Salisu, who scored Ghana’s fourth goal on the night.

As they entered the dressing room at the end of the game, Salisu was seen heaping praises on the West Ham midfielder and labelling him as the “Starboy.”

Kudus also reciprocated the love by shaking hands with the defender before proceeding into the dressing room.
