    UEFA Champions League holders, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), on October 1, 2025, beat Barcelona to a 2:1 victory.

    The Spanish side sat at home at the Estadio Olimpico Liusi Companys and got beaten by PSG, despite scoring the first goal.

    In the 19th minute of the game, Barcelona’s Ferran Torres scored, following a tremendous assist from Marcus Rashford.

    Despite the Spanish side exerting immense pressure on PSG, the defending champions came through with an equaliser, a superb goal from Senny Mayulu at the 38th minute.

    During the 90th minute, PSG’s Gonçalo Ramos scored the second with a brilliant strike inside the penalty box to seal an emphatic 2:1 victory.

    PSG have bagged three points from their second game after beating Atalanta 4:0 during their first game.

    Meanwhile, Barcelona will look forward to getting a win in their next game to keep their hopes of finishing among the top eight teams alive.
