Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, thrashed their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, by four goals to zero at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 26, 2024.

Madrid started the game on a high by creating some decent chances but failed to convert them.

Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe’s wastefulness cost the team.

In the second half, Barcelona began by pressurizing their opponents, which helped them create spaces for striker Robert Lewandowski to score a brace.

When the Galacticos decided to push men forward to find an equalizer, the Catalans capitalized on counter-attacks to add two more goals to seal an emphatic victory.

Prodigy Lamine Yamal and Raphinha netted the two goals while Madrid squandered their chances, with Mbappe’s two goals being ruled out for offside.

After eleven matches played, Barcelona have extended their lead at the top of the Laliga table with 30 points, while Madrid are second with 26 points.
