German born Ghanaian international, Derrick Arthur Köhn has been named in Ghana’s 24-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali in September 2025.

The 26-year-old has earned his first call-up to the Black Stars after years of being monitored by coach Otto Addo and the Ghana Football Association.

Derrick Arthur Köhn moved from Galatasaray to Union Berlin this summer, following an eye-catching performance on loan at Werder Bremen last season, which culminated in 27 appearances and 2 goals in the German Bundesliga.

He featured in Union Berlin’s opening game in the 2025/2026 Bundesliga season against Stuttgart on Saturday, September 23, at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei in front of over 20,000 spectators.

Derrick was introduced in the 67th minute as replacement for Danish international Robert Skov.
