Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche, Founder of Reign House Chapel International, has become the center of discussion online after a video of him prophesying the death of the Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, re-emerged

In the video circulating on social media, Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche was heard speaking on December 31, 2024, that the health of Pope Francis was at stake.

He explained that the late Pope Francis might pass on if care was not taken.

“Let’s pray for Pope Francis this year. We were all born as Roman Catholic so let’s pray for him because death is looking for him,” he said.

Pope Francis was announced dead on April 21, 2025, after battling critical sickness recently.

The Head of the Catholic Church died at the age of 88, the Vatican said.

According to the BBC, which described the late Pope as ‘A voice for peace with a contagious smile,’ tributes from across the world have been pouring in for the late Pope Francis.

The 88-year-old pontiff spent five weeks in hospital with pneumonia in February and March. According to his medical team, the pope came close to death during the illness.

Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was the 266th Pope of the Catholic Church.
