    A video has gone viral online, capturing the havoc caused by the heavy downpour on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

    Just as properties in many parts of the capital were affected, a vehicle with registration number GE 5521-20 was seen somersaulting and landing on its roof after the driver lost control.

    Reports gathered by GhanaWeb indicated that the accident happened near Cahaya, Adjiringanor.

    Also, there were no casualties recorded and details of the driver and passengers are unknown.

    The heavy rainfall began on Wednesday evening, around 4 PM, and stopped around 8 PM on the same day.

    Following the downpour, numerous videos have gone viral online capturing some communities in Accra flooded, including heavy traffic.
