Arsenal and France legend, Thierry Henry has criticised Kudus Mohammed’s lack of defensive effort in Tottenham Hotspurs’ humiliating defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspurs suffered their heaviest defeat in the North London derby against Arsenal on Sunday, November 23, 2025, on matchday 12 of the ongoing Premier League season.

Kudus who was returning from an injury played 78 minutes of the game at the Emirates before he was replaced for Brennan Johnson and was rated 6.1 for his performance by Flashscore.

Speaking after the game as a pundit on Sky Sports, Thierry Henry criticized the Ghanaian winger for not helping his team defend as a collective against Arsenal’s attack.

“My problem was not the back 5 Spurs used but the two wide players they used in the game. If the two guys on the outside of your number 9 do not work well to stop the ball on the outside of your two number 6 you will suffer.”

“Kudus never went there to help the two holding players so there was always space for Arsenal to exploit and they did that,” Thierry Henry said on Sky Sports.
