Mr Eazi and King Promise released a new single in September 2025

2025 TGMA Artiste of the Year, King Promise, has shared details of how he and his colleague Mr Eazi shot the video for their hit song ‘See What We’ve Done’ at Mr Eazi’s wedding.

Speaking in an interview with 3Music on December 3, 2025, the musician opened up about his long-term relationship with Mr Eazi, whom he described as his best friend, and Temi Otedola.

He stated, “It’s a nice feeling, seeing your best friend getting married. I’ve known Eazi for about 10 years. I met Temi when they started dating. It’s been years, like 6, 7 years. And we become like family.

“I’ve had so many friends get married, and it was kind of… This one is, you know, just took over the world for how glamorous and beautiful it was. I was just happy to spend that moment with them,” he said.

Mr Eazi and King Promise released the official video for their collaboration on September 19, 2025, a month after Eazi tied the knot with Temi Otedola in Iceland on August 8.

The video, shot mainly in black and white, featured scenes from the wedding and showed King Promise and Mr Eazi singing at some locations during the wedding.

“It’s crazy; we shot the video at the wedding. We didn’t really plan it,” he recalled.

“We were with the groomsmen preparing. And I just saw the camera, and I’m like, ‘Eazi, do your verse now, and I’ll do something.’ It was just that. I’m like, ‘We have no time. We will shoot till we get to the car,” he said.

King Promise said he was still surprised at the impromptu video shoot.

“He’s a crazy guy. On your wedding, your mind has to be somewhere else, but he was like, ‘yeah, cool.’ So we just had Andre turn on the camera, and the rest is history,” he added.

Explaining the message behind the song, he said, “It’s really us just looking back at how far we’ve come from where we met till, you know, from Adenta to here.”

Since its release, the song has garnered over 2.3 million YouTube views, 2.6 million Spotify streams and 1.5 million Apple Music streams.
