Blakk Cedi, former manager of Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy, has publicly thanked Shatta Wale for putting him in the squad at the recent ‘Freedom Street Concert’ in Jamaica, which was organized by Vybz Kartel.

Blakk Cedi expressed gratitude in a sincere message posted on social media:

“I hope you are well. I wanted to take a moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of your team at the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica. It was an honor to contribute to your vision, and I do not take that responsibility lightly.”

He also commended Shatta Wale’s professionalism and the respect he received throughout the partnership.

Blakk Cedi’s engagement with Shatta Wale has stirred debate in the Ghanaian music world, particularly given the rivalry between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy split up in 2019 owing to unspecified internal disagreements within the Burniton Music Group. Since then, Blakk Cedi has kept a low profile.
