This Texas kindergartner definitely thought this ceremony could have been an email.

Graham Reeves, six, of Longview, had to sit through a nearly hour-long graduation ceremony, but like many people, he was ready to wrap things up.

About 37 minutes into the festivities, the boy, who was wearing dress shoes three sizes too big, was visibly over it, a video his mother, Rachel Reeves, captured to the amusement of many.

He sat cross-legged and had a blank expression on his face as the ceremony continued in the gymnasium.

But a minute later, the youngster couldn’t take it any longer. He began fidgeting with his hands, then arching his back over the seat with a look of agony on his face as the girl next to him ignored his antics and the long ceremony dragged on.

By minute 40, the youngster was swinging his blue tassel around his graduation cap to keep himself entertained.

A few moments later, he was seen biting his nails and picking his nose.

Graham’s forehead was practically touching the floor as the six-year-old had given up on the ceremony as it approached the 50-minute mark.

However, Rachel, who owns Shiver Sticks, a popsicle company, told the Daily Mail her rambunctious son had actually given up on the ceremony a mere 10 minutes in.

‘It’s just so Graham,’ the mother-of-two told the Daily Mail with a laugh. ‘I think I was the only one who was noticing it.

‘He’s just comfortable in his own skin. He was entertaining himself, and he was not trying to even entertain anybody else, and that is just so specifically Graham.’

Rachel had picked up her phone to record the moment after her and her family found themselves giggling halfway through as Graham positioned himself in a cross-legged pose, reminding them of his father, Chad Reeves, whose a bible teacher at the school.

‘His little pose looked identical to his dad,’ Rachel told the Daily Mail. ‘Then it just derailed from there.’

The boy’s ‘contagious’ energy even got him an award earlier in the ceremony for being genuine.

‘You’re comfortable being exactly who god created you to be. You are honest about your feelings and the things you enjoy, and you never try to be someone you’re not,’ his teacher said at the ceremony, Rachel told the Daily Mail.

But by the end of it, the incoming first-grader was all smiles as he held his teddy bear and cheesed at the camera for his mother, who presented him with a box of chocolates and a balloon.

'Gosh, I love this freckled kid so much, and grateful to capture these adorable moments to keep forever!!!' his mother, Rachel Reeves said. Graham is pictured with his parents

Gone were the woes of the boring ceremony when creamy chocolate was involved, as his mother said all he cared about was getting a bite of it.

And this isn’t the first time the kindergartener’s antics have amused his parents. In March, during a play put on by his class, Graham was caught doing his own thing in the background.

‘He’s been in a couple of school plays and stuff, and this is exactly what he does every time, because he’s just there to entertain himself, and if it’s boring, he’s gonna find some way,’ Rachel told the Daily Mail.

Now, Graham, his brother, who is going into fourth grade, and his parents are gearing up for a camping trip in the Tetons to celebrate the official start of summer.

And luckily for Graham, he won’t be forced to sit through another boring ceremony.
