Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy has sparked social media reactions after comparing diamond rings to Shatta Wale‘s Rolls Royce.

In a video making waves on X on March 4, 2025, Stonebwoy, who was seen buying diamond rings for his crew members, claimed that the rings are more expensive than Rolls Royce cars.

“How many Rolls Royces are here? You guys love to shout. Stop shouting and let people enjoy their things whether they are lying or telling the truth. We know who we know, so don’t talk too much,” he said.

The Jejereje hitmaker also stated that he prefers buying expensive chains over cars.

“We bought a 2022 Bentley and also a proper G-Wagon, so don’t let anyone lie to you. Let people enjoy what they worked for. If they are telling the truth, it’s up to them, and if they are lying, that’s also up to them. I love chains, and somebody else loves something different,” he added.

The video, which was shared on social media, has put Stonebwoy under scrutiny by some users.

While some fans support his comments, others particularly netizens and fans of dancehall musician Shatta Wale have classified Stonebwoy‘s statement as one made out of jealousy.
