Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has opened up about his relationship with his girlfriend, Isabel, sharing how they first met and the simple activities they enjoy together.
Speaking to MailSport, the Norwegian forward revealed that Isabel was the one who made the first move.
“She sent me a message. She played in the same club as me, Bryne. She was the one who checked me out. I wasn’t the one who checked her out,” Haaland explained.
Far from the glitz and glamour often associated with footballers’ private lives, Haaland described their romance as rooted in simplicity.

Asked about a typical date night, the striker admitted he often takes charge in the kitchen.
“I cook. This will probably sound a bit embarrassing to her, but she likes to play video games. So we play Minecraft together. We build houses and all that. Or we go home to Bryne and order kebabs,” he said.
The 25-year-old, who has become one of world football’s most feared goal scorers, also reflected on his time before meeting Isabel.
“I was single for quite a while myself. If I have any advice? It’s to get out and socialize. Meet people and get to know people. From my experience, you find your girlfriend when you least expect it. If you’re always looking for a girlfriend, you’ll never find one,” he added.
