With just about eight days to Ghana’s general elections, Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, a renowned man of God, has declared John Dramani Mahama as the next President of Ghana.
In a post seen on his Facebook wall on Friday, November 29, 2024, the prophet confidently stated that Ghanaian voters would choose John Mahama, the former President and NDC flagbearer, in the general elections scheduled for December 7, 2024.

According to Prophet Elbernard, his divine revelation showed that the fourth President of Ghana’s Fourth Republic, John Mahama, would be elected, declared, and sworn in as the sixth President under the Fourth Republic come January 2025.
He emphasized the certainty of this outcome, stating, “It is confirmed, and nothing can alter the decisions of Ghanaians on December 7, 2024.”

Prophet Elbernard‘s prediction has ignited discussions as the nation prepares for one of its most anticipated elections in recent years. The two major political parties, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), are once again the primary contenders.
The NPP, under the leadership of its flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, seeks to extend its eight-year governance legacy.
On the other hand, the NDC, led by John Mahama, is banking on its “rescue mission” mantra, aiming to convince Ghanaians that a return to their leadership will reverse what they describe as the economic mismanagement under the NPP.
Smaller political parties, such as the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), the Convention People’s Party (CPP), and the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), are also in the race, hoping to disrupt the dominance of the NPP and NDC. These parties have been vocal about presenting alternatives to the two-party system, though their chances of winning remain slim.
