On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the leadership of the tertiary education wing of the Asante Kotoko supporters’ group, Porcupine Tertiary visited the bereaved family of Francis Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.

In a post shared by the group on X, the leaders were seen with Pooley’s wife and mother. The post also revealed that they donated amounts of GH₵4,000 and GH₵3,000 to Pooley’s wife and mother, respectively.

The devoted Asante Kotoko supporter was tragically stabbed during a match against Nsoatreman on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

What began as an on-field altercation between players quickly escalated into the stands, culminating in the fatal incident.

Asante Kotoko also on Thursday, March 6, 2025, bid a final farewell to their loyal fan.

Meanwhile, the lawyer for Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku, disclosed on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, that all the accused persons who were in police custody in the murder trial of the deceased have been granted bail.

Yesterday, leadership of @terti_porcupine visited the wife and mother of our member and brother Nana Pooley.

From the little contribution from our members, we gave GHS 4,000 to the wife and also gave GHS 3,000 to the mother.

To all @KnustBranch members we say THANK YOU ALL. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/SFEyotmC4j
