Prophet Fire Oja has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service

Controversial Ghanaian prophet, Jedidiah Henry Kore, popularly known as Fire Oja, has been arrested by the Ghana Police over some defamatory comments made against musician Mzbel.

According to reports gathered by GhanaWeb on January 6, 2025, the leader of Zion Prayer Ministries International was arrested on January 5, 2025, following a formal complaint made by the “16 Years” singer to the Ghana Police Service.

The complaint followed a viral social media video in which Fire Oja was heard making allegations about Mzbel’s health.

In the viral video, Fire Oja claimed that Mzbel was seriously ill and had been admitted to a hospital at Kasoa.

According to Fire Oja, after Mzbel recovered from her illness, she allegedly engaged in soul travel, urging fans of the musician to be cautious and refrain from supporting her.

Fire Oja also dared the musician to publicly deny his claims if he was telling lies.

“Mzbel was seriously ill, and she was taken to a hospital at Kasoa. It was God who saved her. But she has come online to say that she went to do soul travel. Be very careful if you are following her. If you are following such a public figure, be careful because she can lead you to the wrong place.

“I dare Mzbel to come out and deny it if I am telling lies. I have evidence of everything I am saying right now. If she thinks I am telling lies, she should dare come online and deny it,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mzbel has confirmed the arrest of the controversial prophet.

According to Mzbel via an Instagram post, Prophet Fire Oja has pleaded guilty to all charges levelled against him and has apologised to her.

However, he is currently being prepared for court proceedings, she added.
