Okatakyei Afrifa-Mensah (L) has accused Prophet Kofi Oduro (R) of being a hypocrite
Media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has taken a swipe at Prophet Kofi Oduro following a viral video in which the prophet pleaded with Ghanaians to cut Prophet Bernard ElBernard some slack.
Over the weekend, a video of Prophet Kofi Oduro surfaced on social media, capturing him appealing to the public to show mercy to Prophet ElBernard after his prophecy that Kennedy Agyapong would win the NPP primaries failed to materialise.
Following the video, several netizens criticised Prophet Oduro, accusing him of exhibiting double standards.

Reacting to the backlash, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, in a separate video, has also criticised the prophet, accusing him of acting out of personal interest and questioning his credibility as a man of God.
According to the media personality, Kofi Oduro is a hypocrite who harshly criticised Rev Kusi Boateng when his prophecy concerning the 2024 general election failed, but was quick to come to the defence of Prophet ElBernard when a similar situation occurred.
“I think the hypocrisy in Ghanaian society is too much. So, because Prophet ElBernard prophesied that Kennedy would win, and it didn’t happen, we should forgive him because he is one of you. However, when Rev Kusi Boateng prophesied that the NPP would win the 2024 election, and it didn’t come to pass, he was branded as one of the foolish prophets.
“God has not called Kofi Oduro; he is not a man of God. He is a politician. You need to come clean and let Ghanaians know that you are a member of the NDC and that Julius Debrah is your brother. You have an interest,” he stated.

Okatakyie further described Kofi Oduro as a liar who has always sought a change in government, accusing him of close ties to Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.
“Kofi Oduro is not a prophet; he is a liar and a hypocrite. All he wanted was a change of government because Julius Debrah is his brother. He has nothing better to offer Ghanaians in national discourse. He has personal interests and should stop hiding behind the pulpit,” he added.
