Nana Yaw Kesseh, a convener for the #FixGhanaFootball campaign has launched a scathing critique of Osei Kweku Palmer, rebuking the veteran football administrator for blaming the decline of Ghanaian football on government interference.

According to Kesseh, Palmer’s remarks that the Akufo-Addo government contributed to the decline of Ghana football is untenable.

Speaking on Peace FM’s sports show, Nana Yaw Kesseh expressed his disbelief and disappointment at Palmer’s statements, criticizing him for linking Ghana’s football challenges to the previous administration.

“Palmer claimed that the Akufo-Addo government was responsible for the collapse of Ghana football. I was stunned and thought to myself, these individuals have no shame. Initially, I refused to believe he had made such a statement, but after hearing the recording, I was shocked to confirm that the words indeed came from him,” Kesseh said.

Kesseh also revealed details of his experience with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports, which left him disheartened.

“Despite the committee’s efforts, we have yet to receive a copy of their report. Instead, we were invited to their office to review the report on their computers before the final document was released,” he added.
