Renowned Accra-based radio presenter Nana Romeo has filed a legal suit against Sally Frimpong Mann over alleged defamatory remarks made during a live broadcast on Power FM.
Through his legal team, Nana Romeo has accused Sally Mann of falsely claiming that he had been convicted of rape and portraying him as deceitful.
He asserts these statements have tarnished his reputation, caused public ridicule, and led to a loss of goodwill.
The legal notice also implicates Power FM and the show’s host for providing the platform where the statements were made.
Nana Romeo demands a full retraction and a public apology from Sally Mann, the show host and Power FM.
The publication must be made in the Daily Graphic and other social media platforms.
In a write of summons, he also demanded GHS 1,000,000 in damages.
