Mzbel has talked about a breakup that blindsided her and triggered one of the most frightening moments of her life, revealing how the emotional shock nearly caused a traffic accident.

The Ghanaian singer shared the account on Hitz FM during a conversation with Andy Dosty, explaining that the relationship ended abruptly while she was behind the wheel, heading home. She said the call came without any prior warning and left her stunned.

“I was driving home, and he told me that I don’t fit into his world and we could still be friends and all that. At first, I laughed, and I was like, ‘Are you serious?’” she recalled.

According to Mzbel, the decision made little sense to her because there had been no indication that the relationship was in trouble. She pointed out that they had recently spent time together on a holiday and appeared to be on good terms shortly before the breakup.

“I didn’t do anything to him; we had even gone for a couple’s holiday and had returned, and two weeks later,” she said.

The singer said the emotional impact of the call hit her moments later as she continued driving. Overcome with tears, she struggled to keep control of her car.

“I was driving, and then I started crying, and I almost swerved out of the road,” she said.

Looking back, Mzbel said the incident has shaped how she now understands emotional pain and spirituality. She suggested that hurt feelings can be transformed into a powerful internal force, often without people being fully aware of it.

“If such a thing happens now, I know I have to generate it inside me by focusing on the way you hurt me and then focus it on you.

“What I am saying is, you do it all the time without realising. The same way someone would provoke you, and you would hit the person physically, is the same way you can concentrate your negative energies and send them to the person, and he or she would get hurt spiritually,” she explained.

Addressing questions about witchcraft, Mzbel dismissed the idea that it is limited to a few individuals or tied only to negative intentions, describing it instead as something inherent in everyone.

“Everybody is a witch. People who have not discovered their witchcraft will think that others who have discovered theirs are using it for something bad,” she stated.
