A Nigerian bride boldly refused to dance into the wedding venue with the sounds of the traditional band, insisting on the modern sounds of the master of ceremony locally known as Alaga Iduro.

In an internet video, the bride refused to be ushered into the wedding hall by the traditional band, even though her family attempted to convince her otherwise.

The bride returned to the hall’s entrance until her request was fulfilled – the Alaga provided modernity and dance to infuse her traditional wedding ceremony with vitality.

With the caption, the ceremony master @oppyalaga posted a video of the bride standing by her choice for the order of her wedding ceremony and explained why there was a disagreement.

    The video captioned,

“Bride was supposed to be ushered in by the Alága in the first session, after which she’ll change to her Owo outfit and the traditional band will usher in…. Like that like that

Nah so band people refused that they’ll be the one to usher her in right from the first outfit (in my mind, sebi den share this thing give all of us nahhhhh). Well, as a peace maker that I am, I decided to give in (Sebi when she sha gets to the front they will release her and I will do my thing). Lo and behold, immediately the bride heard, story changed ooooo”.
