Ghanaian comic actor and director Richmond Xavier Amoakoh, popularly known as Lawyer Nti, has expressed strong support for the 24-hour economy policy proposed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a post shared on X, on November 26, 2024, Lawyer Nti expressed his optimism about the policy’s potential to reshape Ghana’s future economy.

He said after experiencing an economy running 24 hours for the first time in a foreign country, he is confident that the implementation of this policy will drive significant economic recovery and growth, provided it is not politicised.

“Honestly, after experiencing an economy that runs 24 hours for the first time, I am convinced that @JDMahama’s 24-hour economy will very much change the trajectory of Ghana’s economic recovery & eventual growth, if not politicised,” he stated.

Lawyer Nti also expressed frustration with the current state of Ghana’s economy, pointing out the country’s lagging infrastructure and ineffective economic policies.

“Bro, my first time out of Ghana, we really dey back!” he added.

Lawyer Nti is not the only Ghanaian celebrity to endorse the NDC’s 2024 24-hour economy proposal. Other prominent figures, including comedian DKB, Big Akwes, and Mzbel, have also publicly declared their support for the policy.
