Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Amewuga has paid a glowing tribute to award-winning content creator and CEO of Kwadwo Sheldon Studios, Kwadwo Sheldon, for playing a critical role in his musical breakthrough.

Speaking in a recent interview with award-winning blogger Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, the Western North native, born Bodjah Anthony Kwesi Amewuga, didn’t hold back his gratitude for the popular vlogger.

According to him, Kwadwo Sheldon’s early belief in his talent was not only rare but life-changing.

The fast-rising rapper, who emerged as the Unsung Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, recounted how in 2020 he left his hometown, Sefwi Wiawso, and moved to Accra in search of opportunities.

He added that at the time he had no connections in the capital music scene, but took up the job of a studio cleaner at Cola Beats Studio just to get the opportunity to record his songs.

Kwesi Amewuga emphasized that when those so gs came out, Kwadwo Sheldon was the only person who picked them, reacted to them, and broke them down for music lovers to understand and appreciate his talent.

The “Yie” singer noted that Sheldon’s support was the push he needed to build momentum for which reason he would forever remain grateful to him.
