Ghanaian child poet, Nakeeyat Dramani Sam, has issued a strong warning to adults who use social media to exploit or harass children. She made it clear that such conduct is unacceptable and criminal.

In a video posted online, the teenager called on predators to keep away from the comment sections of children’s content. She stressed that young people deserve to grow up free from adults who try to impose harmful intentions on them.

She explained that children remain innocent and should not be subjected to inappropriate behaviour from adults. Her message emphasised that those with indecent motives must keep their distance.

Nakeeyat also pointed out that preying on young girls who create content online will not be tolerated anywhere, insisting that the digital space should not be a hunting ground for abusers.

She encouraged fellow children to keep expressing themselves confidently and promised that she, along with others, would continue to challenge harassment whenever it appears.
