President John Dramani Mahama has chosen an acting chief executive for the Mineral Income Investment Fund (MIIF), just hours after canceling Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng’s appointment as CEO.

Ms. Justina Nelson has been appointed as the Mineral Investment Fund’s acting CEO, according to a letter signed by Felix Ofosu Kwakye.

According to the letter, Ms. Justina Nelson is currently the group head of Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited, where she oversees both the energy and commercial banking sectors.

Ms. Justina Nelson holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Ghana.
