German-born Ghanaian winger Jamie Leweling is set to extend his contract with VfB Stuttgart, further solidifying his place at the club.

According to Sky’s Patrick Berger, Leweling, whose current contract runs until 2028, is poised to extend his stay until 2029. This extension comes after a series of outstanding performances that have elevated him to one of Stuttgart’s key players.

The 23-year-old’s salary will be adjusted based on his remarkable performances, making him one of the club’s highest earners moving forward.

Leweling’s rise at Stuttgart has not only caught the attention of his club but also the German national team, for whom he debuted in a 1-0 win against the Netherlands in October, even scoring his first goal.

Leweling’s journey with Stuttgart began on 13 July 2023, when he joined on loan from Union Berlin. By May 19, 2024, his move was made permanent, with a contract extending through June 2028. His continued development at Stuttgart reflects both his talent and the club’s commitment to his future.
