Medeama SC were officially crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after their 2-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars in a colourful coronation game at the TnA Stadium earlier today in Tarkwa.
The Mauve and Yellows completed the season with 62 points to secure their second Ghana Premier League title and their second championship triumph in four seasons.
After the final whistle, Medeama players and officials were presented with the league trophy and gold medals in front of a jubilant home crowd to officially mark their successful campaign.
Thousands of supporters filled the TnA Stadium to celebrate with the team as scenes of excitement and jubilation took over Tarkwa throughout the evening.
To make the occasion even more memorable, popular Ghanaian musician Medikal also performed live at the stadium, thrilling fans during the championship celebrations.
Medeama SC’s title-winning season now earns them the opportunity to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League as they prepare for another continental campaign.
