Former Ghana Football Association chairman Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has urged the government to invest in a top-class coach to revive the fortunes of the national team.

Speaking to Graphic Sports, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe stressed that Ghana must be willing to commit the necessary financial resources if it hopes to secure a high-quality manager capable of transforming the Black Stars.

“If the government has the money, they should pay well and go for a top-class coach. Some coaches have the ability to turn teams around quickly,” he said.

He believes the right managerial appointment could play a crucial role in rebuilding a competitive national side, especially as Ghana looks to regain its status among Africa’s elite football nations.

The former FA boss added that a proven and experienced coach would bring the tactical discipline, leadership, and winning mentality needed to steer the Black Stars in the right direction.

His comments come amid ongoing discussions about the future direction of the national team.
