Ghanaian dancehall artiste Akiyana has cautioned financially unstable men to avoid relationships with women.
During a discussion on Hitz FM on November 21, 2024, the singer emphasised that a man who cannot spend on a lady should refrain from pursuing romantic interests.
“If you are a man and you can’t open your wallet, then keep your zipper closed. That’s the truth,” she stated.
She also advised men not to resort to black magic when faced with a breakup.
Akiyana shared an anecdote about a friend who was ghosted by her partner, highlighting that breakups are a natural part of life and should not be met with supernatural solutions.
Akiyana, known for songs like “No Money No Party,” “Bubra,” and “Osheyy,” has gained popularity in the dancehall music scene.
