Ghanaian rapper Amerado is making waves on social media after his candid and humorous remarks during an interview on Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo stirred laughter and debate.

Known for always having a toffee in his mouth, whether he’s on stage, in interviews, or just out and about, fans have long wondered if his sugar habit has a downside.

That speculation turned into a direct question when host Nana Romeo jokingly asked whether the constant toffee-chewing was affecting his performance in the bedroom.

Amerado didn’t miss a beat. Laughing, he responded, “I don’t use it for anything o… it’s just there like that. If it wants to die, let it die.”

Despite health concerns often linked with excess sugar, Amerado made it clear he has no plans to curb his sweet indulgence. “As for the toffee, I won’t stop anytime soon,” he declared.

The rapper didn’t stop there. In a light-hearted critique of dating culture, he commented on what he sees as rising expectations in modern relationships.

“These days, the way women dey demand too much just because of what God gave them down there… I just dey mind my business,” Amerado posited.

Following the interview, fans have taken to social media with memes, dubbing toffees as Amerado’s “official trademark” and hailing his unfiltered honesty. While some applaud his carefree attitude, others are still scratching their heads, wondering just how far his sweet tooth will take him.
