Pope Skinny is a Ghanaian musician
Ghanaian musician Pope Skinny has expressed admiration for Asiedu Nketia, stating that although he is a devoted member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he is willing to become a supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should Asiedu Nketia announce his interest in becoming the flagbearer.
Speaking with OkayFM’s Nana Romeo, the musician said he admires how Asiedu Nketia carries himself and how intelligent he always appears.
“I’ve never been involved in any political campaign, but am waiting for Asiedu Nketia, General Mosquito. I will quickly become an NDC by force if he announces an interest in becoming the president. I have even started, because I’ve learnt a lot from him, especially how he answers questions during interviews, you can tell he knows a lot,” Pope Skinny said.

Pope Skinny added, “I have never met the man before, but I just admire him; he doesn’t talk much, and when he does, he always makes tangible points. You just wait and see, unless he’s not interested”.
According to Pope Skinny, although he is a fully-fledged NPP member, he is currently disgusted by the fights and division in the party.
