Contemporary gospel artiste Scott Evans has revealed that he invested approximately GH¢200,000 in the production of his music video for the song “100 Percent.”
In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on May 30, 2025, Evans detailed the extensive efforts and resources involved in creating the high-quality video, including shooting in Cape Coast and assembling over 100 dancers.
“We had to shoot in Cape Coast. We had to get over 100 dancers. The locations, the set we built—everything was from scratch. There was a crane. We had to rent a crane to capture certain shots,” he disclosed.
One of the most significant expenses was color grading. After two attempts with local professionals in Ghana failed to deliver the desired results, Evans sought the expertise of a colorist based in Estonia.
“We initially tried two guys in Ghana, but that didn’t work because of what we wanted to achieve with the quality of our footage. So we found someone online, but he was in Estonia, and we couldn’t send dollars to him,” he explained.
Due to challenges with international payments, the team resorted to using cryptocurrency to complete the transaction.
“So we asked him, and he said he could accept bitcoin. One of my team members who’s into crypto made the payment on our behalf,” he added.
Evans emphasised that the substantial investment was aimed at ensuring top-tier production quality for the video, stating, “Everything was from scratch.”
This claim aligns with Evans’ previous assertions about his dedication to high production standards in his music projects.
He has previously claimed to be one of the most invested artists in terms of production quality, remaining focused on delivering exceptional content to his audience.
