Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Vyrusky

Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Vyrusky has addressed rumors stating that he deliberately removed Kuami Eugene’s verse from his new single, Sika.

In an interview on 3FM on November 12, 2024, DJ Vyrusky, whose real name is Kofi Amoako, explained that Kuami Eugene was unavailable during the recording of the song, which is why King Paluta’s verse was used instead.

He further clarified, “There was a conversation about having Kuami Eugene on the song, but he was not available at the time, so we never actually recorded his verse. I didn’t remove anything from the song.”

DJ Vyrusky also emphasised that he and Kuami Eugene have several songs together that are yet to be released.

“But me and Kuami Eugene even have a lot of songs together, and we even have like three or four songs that we are yet to release,” he said.

Speaking about the people who influenced his career, DJ Vyrusky praised MC Jerry Adjorlolo, acknowledging the positive impact he has had on his journey.

“I go collect some two weddings someday and I for balance the two and I was just running in between the event and he (Jerry Adjorlolo) was like bro just form a group of DJs and let people know that these are my boys so when the book you now they know they are your boys. The whole idea was to be able to get more gigs,” he stated.
