Entertainment critic Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has added her voice to the ongoing court proceedings concerning the funeral arrangements of the legendary late Daddy Lumba.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Vida urged the family of the late musician and the appropriate authorities to intervene and stop the women who frequently troop to the courthouse to stir up trouble.

According to her, their behaviour appears deliberate and possibly coordinated.

Why Daddy Lumba’s burial cannot be held on December 13 – Papa Shee explains

“I’m starting to believe that the women have been contracted to cause trouble at the court hearing. If it is not contractual, why do they always go there and all they do is cause trouble? The family must stop them because it is an embarrassment to Daddy Lumba and his legacy” she said.

Her comments follow the circulation of videos on social media showing what appeared to be market women attacking and verbally assaulting a man believed to be the father of Lumba’s mistress, Odo Broni.

Vida Adutwumwaa also urged the family to ensure there is adequate police presence at the court premises for the final judgment next week, in order to prevent these women from causing any further trouble.

“This week the family head was whisked away in a police car before he could leave the court, so the family must get the police on the court premises to avoid any danger at the final judgement next week,” she added.
