Following numerous prophecies issued by some popular Ghanaian pastors regarding the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race scheduled for January 31, 2026, entertainment personality MC Yaa Yeboah has expressed frustrations at the differences in these foretellings.

In a post shared on Instagram on January 3, 2025, MC Yaa Yeboah voiced her disappointment over what she described as conflicting revelations allegedly received from God by different pastors.

According to MC Yaa Yeboah, it is troubling that God would give different information on the same subject to various prophets, thereby raising questions about the credibility and integrity of these pastors.

“How many gods do some of our pastors actually worship? I have genuine concerns, especially when prophetic declarations from different pulpits directly contradict each other.

“Even more troubling is what happens when these prophecies fail,” she stated.

MC Yaa Yeboah further noted that she finds it disturbing when prophets fail to take responsibility for their actions, particularly when their prophecies do not come to pass.

According to her, the excuses often given by some pastors when their predictions fail tend to undermine the seriousness of prophecies and insult the Christian faith.

“… Rather than accountability, we are often served a menu of convenient excuses: the people did not pray enough, the prophecy was spiritual and not physical, or God changed His mind,” she added.

MC Yaa Yeboah’s comments come on the back of recent prophecies by several Ghanaian prophets, including Fire Oja, Prophet Eric Uche Boahen, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, and others, who have delivered conflicting prophecies about who will emerge victorious in the NPP flagbearer race.

While some of these prophets predicted that former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would emerge victorious, others have claimed they saw Kennedy Agyapong becoming the next NPP flagbearer.
