President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Herbert Krapa as the substantive Minister of Energy.
This announcement was contained in a press release dated Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
In the release, President Akufo-Addo noted that Mr. Krapa, who has served as Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024, is credited with demonstrating exceptional diligence, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to his responsibilities.
“Mr. Krapa has served as Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since his appointment on July 15, 2024, and, according to the President, has demonstrated exceptional diligence, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to his duties, contributing significantly to the progress and stability of Ghana’s energy sector,” part of the release read.
“In recognition of his hard work and leadership, President Akufo-Addo is confident that Mr. Krapa will continue to distinguish himself in his new role, ensuring the continued growth and transformation of the energy sector in service to the nation,” it added.
Herbert Krapa will oversee developments in the energy sector and ensure the successful implementation of key policies that will transform the sector for the benefit of the nation.
