Presidential staffer Beatrice Annan has launched a scathing critique on former Attorney General Godfred Dame, questioning his credibility and leadership during his tenure.
“I was very scandalized to hear that Godfred Dame actually had the audacity to speak on the Nolle Prosequi matter,” she said.
“If there’s any Attorney General who never carried himself with the grace and honour expected of the office, it is Godfred Dame,” she said in an interview on Good Morning Ghana monitored by MyNewsGh.
Annan did not hold back, asserting that Dame’s time in office was a disgrace to the legal profession.
“He will go down in history as an Attorney General who brought no honor to the office. In fact, he was a total embarrassment to all lawyers,” she declared.
She further criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming they had failed to reflect on their defeat in the last election.
“Even after being booted out of power, they won’t take time for sober reflections. Instead of asking themselves why Ghanaians rejected them, they continue to embarrass themselves.”
