Ghanaian referee Reginald Collins Amoah has received a significant boost in his officiating career after earning an invitation from the Confederation of African Football to participate in the pre-tournament course ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026.

The pre-tournament course forms a crucial part of preparations for match officials selected for the continental showpiece, providing technical guidance, fitness assessments, and updates on officiating standards. Amoah’s inclusion highlights growing recognition of his competence and consistency on the domestic and international stage.

The programme will bring together elite referees from across the continent, offering them the opportunity to refine their skills and align with CAF’s expectations before the competition kicks off in Morocco.

Amoah’s invitation is also seen as a positive development for Ghanaian football, reflecting the country’s continued contribution to officiating at the highest level in Africa. His participation could pave the way for future appointments at major CAF and international tournaments, further enhancing his profile.
