President of the Football Association, Kurt Edwin Okraku, has officially launched the 2026 agenda for the national U-15 Girls team following a strategic meeting with the management committee on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The FA President met the committee, led by Dr Charles Osei Antoh, to outline a comprehensive roadmap focused on nationwide scouting, structured player development and competitive readiness ahead of key tournaments later this year. He commended the chairman and his team for accepting the responsibility of steering one of the country’s most important youth national sides and urged close collaboration with the National Juvenile Committee to begin immediate talent identification.

In response, Dr Osei Antoh thanked the FA for the confidence reposed in the committee and pledged to build a disciplined, competitive and transparent system, stressing strict adherence to player eligibility rules.

Technical Director Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah emphasized compliance with FIFA Talent Identification Program guidelines, while National Teams Director and Deputy General Secretary Alex Asante assured the committee of full administrative backing.

The committee is mandated to oversee the team’s long-term strategy, ensure adequate camping facilities and logistics, and maintain high standards in player welfare and technical development
